To ensure we are providing an optimal experience, Dulux has initiated a series of improvements to the Dulux Find a Painter program benefiting both our consumers and Accredited Painters.
You can expect the following key changes to your Find A Painter experience.
Improvements in lead matching.
Leads are now matched more accurately based on your lead preferences. You will have the option to accept or reject a lead with an expiry time for new leads. We've also implemented measures to ensure fair lead rotation for all Accredited Painters.
Revamped communications.
Enhancements to the consumer request process enable us to provide more details relating to their project. The matching process will now be better supported with new email communications to both our painters and consumers, ensuring a smooth handover and clarity in the next steps.
To support the improvements to the Find a Painter program, every member is required to complete their Find a Painter Profile. Your Find a Painter Profile is where you can select the types of jobs, as well as the locations, which you would like to receive leads for. To finalise your job leads profile simply follow the link provided in the recent email from us or contact our Customer Service team for assistance on 0800 800 424 (Press 2 for technical advice).

What is a service area?
A service area represents locations you are willing to accept leads from.
To set your service area(s), follow the link in our recent email, enter your business address, set the radius for areas you service and then move the “pin” to where it best suits. Multiple pins can be added for where you may cover more than one service area.

How do I accept a job?
You will be sent a “Lead Email” that will expire after 16 business hours, based on eight hours per working day. If a lead is generated outside of business hours, the 16 hours commences at the start of the next business workday. From this email, you can either “Accept” or “Decline” based on the description, details of the job and location.
Only the first three businesses that accept a lead will progress. If you attempt to accept a lead that has already been claimed by other painters, you will be advised that the job is already assigned to other businesses.
If you select “Decline,” depending on the number of other businesses that have accepted the lead, the job may be opened to other painters for the opportunity of completion.
How do I update my details & preferences?
If you require updates to be made to your Find a Painter profile, contact us by phone on 0800 800 424 (Press 2 for technical advice). We are working on a plan to provide you with access to view and maintain your own account details.
How are leads matched?
Leads will be matched to you based on the customer’s location and project requirements, your service area and job preferences.
All job leads will be issued to a maximum of three painters. Should a postcode have more than three painters, the leads will rotate to ensure an even distribution of opportunities.
In collecting and using your personal information for the Permitted Purpose, we may disclose your personal information to Third Parties for the Permitted Purpose. We will only use your personal information for the Permitted Purpose and in accordance with our privacy policy.
If we don't collect your personal information, we will be unable to pass your details to consumers who are seeking a painter via our service.
Third Parties: Consumers using the 'Find A Painter' service and marketing and communications agencies.
Permitted Purpose: Your details provided to consumers for job opportunities; providing our product and services to you; and answering any questions or queries you may have in relation to our products and services.
