
Dryden OilStain is a deeply penetrating oil that nourishes most exterior timber species. Dryden OilStain nourishes and protects from within to help timber last longer. It is water resistant to help minimize warping, cupping, and splitting which occur from water getting into the timber.Use for protecting outdoor wood furniture and most exterior wood joinery, suitable for application on: Decking, hardwood timber screening, outdoor furniture, windows, doors, plywood\/timber, beams, fascia boards, shutters, joinery, fences, posts and engineered products. Preparing Dressed Timber
For best results, we recommend cleaning timber with Dryden Liquid Timber Clean to ensure surface is free from debris, droppings, and stains.
Preparing Bandsawn Timber:
Thoroughly brush along the direction of the grain to remove dust, loose timber fibres and debris. After brushing, turn over the timber and knock several times to ensure all loose fibres fall off. For best results, we recommend cleaning timber with Dryden Liquid Timber Clean to ensure surface is free from debris, droppings and stains
Protect:
Protect newly coated timber from damage.Take allrelevant precautions to protect timbers from sub trade and sources of contamination such as dust, dirt, aggregate concrete wash, concrete cutting, metal grinding, paint splatter, etc.
Envelope Seal all Exterior Timbers:
All timbers should be coated with Dryden OilStain prior to installation or fixing to provide a first coat envelope seal. All faces, backs, edges and cut ends must be coated.
Restoration & Refurbishment:
Where timber is heavily weathered, previously coated, or showing signs of environmental contamination that require restoration and refurbishment, make sure to bring the surface of the timber up to standard before applying Dryden OilStain.
