About Porter's Wax Lime Wax

Porter’s Lime Wax is a fine beeswax polish blended with titanium oxide to create a protective finish for bare timber or painted surfaces. Lime Wax is designed to create an aged effect by leaving a white limed effect and laying on lighter in crevices, cracks and low relief areas. Buff to desired lustre.

Precautions and limitations

Not suitable for use in wet areas.
Do not apply in high humidity, below 10°c or above 30°c.

Surface preparation
Previously painted surface

Follow drying time instructions from the specification of the product you are coating.

How to apply
Brush, Roller

Do not apply paint if Relative Humidity is above 85% or temperature is within 3°C of Dew Point.
Do not apply if the surface temperature is greater than 30°C or below 10°C, or likely to fall below 10°C during the application or drying period.

Apply sparingly with a soft lint free cloth or fine steel wool. Ensure Lime Wax is sparingly and evenly applied. Before the wax is completely dry buff vigorously by hand with a soft clean cloth, or mechanically with a lamb’s wool buffer.
