About Dulux envirO2 Ceiling Flat

Dulux envirO2™ Ceiling Flat is a very low VOC and low odour premium paint specifically designed for use on ceilings. It contains mould protection to help prevent mould growth. It has high opacity and a flat finish to help hide minor surface imperfections.

Precautions and limitations

All preparation and painting must conform to AS2311: The Painting of Buildings.
Do not use at temperatures below 10C,or when the temperature of surface may fall below 10C during the drying period. Not recommended for application at temperatures higher than 28C. Avoid exposure to steam and condensation for 48 hours after application. Not recommended for areas subject to frequent cleaning.

Performance guide
  • Weather: Designed for interior use only. Not recommended for exterior use.
  • Heat Resistance: Softens and sticks to other painted surfaces over 70° C
  • Solvent: Sensitive to aromatic hydrocarbons and alcohols
Surface preparation
Previously painted surface

All surfaces must be prepared in accordance with proper trade practices and must be clean and free from dust, dirt, grease and oil.

Previously painted surfaces, except asbestos cement, must be sanded to remove loose, peeling, flaking or chalky paint. Spot prime bare areas.

Note: To avoid dust from asbestos cement sheeting do not sand or scrub. Wash with bleach solution or appropriate de-mossing chemical where necessary. Wash down.

How to apply
Brush, Roller

Brush, roller, spray
Stir well before use with a broad, flat paddle using an up and down scooping action. Apply 2 coats of DULUX Professional EnvirO2 Tintable Ceiling Flat. Thin with up to 100ml per litre of water if necessary.

How to dispose responsibly
Unused paint
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place and and away from oxidising agents and corrosive materials. Protect from sunlight. Store away from sources of heat and/or ignition. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Unused paint: Spray unwanted paint onto newspaper and allow to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections. Empty paint containers: Empty aerosol cans are recyclable via steel can recycling programs. Disposal of empty aerosol containers via domestic recycling programs differ between local authorities.
